There: One of the Oldest Online Virtual Worlds

There.com, my personal favorite. This game back in the day was epic. Full of people, and even though you had to pay real money for the premium stuff, There's unique online vitual world featured a system where you could rent or even try certain items instead of paying 100% premium.

Just like mos Online Virtual Worlds games, There has you create an avatar, albeit an adult one, and then you are free to do literally whatever you want. The basis of the game is exploration and most of the content, games, rewards, and people are found exploring certain developer created areas.

I am glad this game is back, and they are even offering $100 worth of Therebux for free when you sign up!

Habbo Hotel: Build A Personal Online Virtual World

Habbo Hotel is one of the bigger names on our blogs. Most individuals have probably already heard of it, played it, or at least had a friend obsess over it, and for good reason.

One of the easiest games to get lost in, Habbo Hotel is one of the few online virtual worlds based on cartoon-like graphics that can still provide one of the most satisfying online social cravings. Create your avatar, personalize him or her however you like, dress them up, add accessories, as well as completing a complete bio for youself to really set your avatar apart from others.

Visit other "hotels", online virtual worlds built within the game by other players, express yourself with your own hotel, join active social groups, play mini-games, explore the Habbo World. We definitely recommend this virtual world for teens. You'll get lost for hours within it. No need to download! This game can be played from your browser.

Gaia Online, a game that really captured our attention. Completely unique from most other online virtual worlds.

Gaia Online is a virtual world game for teens and young adults, allowing it's users to create avatars based on an anime art style. This game has been around for a while, but for good reason.

Create your avatar, dress them up in cool outfits, visit the forum and post your achievements, visit other online virtual worlds within the game, play minigames, and much more. Gaia online hosts a variety of unique online virtual worlds within it's walls and if you are remotely into any kind of anime, I would say this game could be a perfect match for you.

Second Life: Online Virtual World For Teens and Adults

Second life. Now that is a Virtual World like no other. This game was made for those mature enough to handle it. Second Life is one of the most customization sandbox multiplayer games out there. It takes a bit of maturity to truly grasp the games concepts and to really have a blast but the results are almost limitless.

This online world game for teens and adults can be one of the most exciting and expansive experiences on the internet. You can explore new locations, made by the developers as well as players. Why travel alone? You can make friends easily in this game, the community is insanely nice. And they can do everything you can.

This online virtual world is the perfect way for you express your true self with zero judgement from anyone. You can be a vampire, a punk rocker, a business person, however you see yourself, you can portray without chastisement. One of the most artistic virtual world games out there. IMVU: Online Virtual Worlds for Tweens

IMVU is a different kind of Virtual Online World. Instead of having you micromanage your character in terms of movement and everything, IMVU is more related to being a IM client that gives you access to an avatar. A social network that has you instead of building, walking around, earning cash, and becoming the best; is a game purely built upon social interaction. Making friends is key to ruling this virtual world.

IMVU is the perfect online virtual world for tweens; a game made for the young but mature. The goal in this game is to build connections, host other users, and never feel like you should be alone and bored.

Build your avatar the way you want to portray yourself. With unlimited options in clothing accessories, you can either make a new individual or portray yourself completely.
Now go out there and socialize with IMVU. No need to waste hours! Get in contact with those around the world instantly.

WeeWorld: Virtual Games for Kids

WeeWorld is a special type of online virtual world comprised of numerous social games based on inspiring creativity.

Composed of around 60 million players, WeeWorld is a game for kids that can be monitored by parents. Parents can make sure their kids feel safe with interacting with others online, creating a perfectly secure world for both kids and parents.

WeeWorld can be played for free with the option of purchasing VIP experience in order to express yourself fully. I recommend this game for young teens looking to socialize with others around the world.

Smeet: The Virtual World played within a Browser

Smeet, one of the few virtual world games for teens that can be played on a browser.

With about 23 million avatars in the Smeet world, making a friend in this game is almost impossible. Design your home, chat and flirt with other Smeet users, and share your favorite music and videos. Smeet is a game based on the concept of sharing. Kind of like tweeting and instagram but on an online virtual world.

We definitely reccomend this game if you are an older teen or younger adult. A good way to pass time and have fun, without spending hours with customization.
